Tredyffrin Gets First Coronavirus Cases, 2 More In Easttown

Tredyffrin's first cases were discovered Monday, and two more cases in Easttown was also discovered Monday.

TREDYFFRIN-EASTTOWN, PA — There are now five cases of the new coronavirus, known as COVID-19, in Tredyffrin and Easttown townships, according to Chester County.

According to the county's COVID-19 website, two new cases were discovered in Easttown Monday.

Easttown now has three cases.

The patients in Easttown are a 60-year-old man, a 21-year-old woman, and a 53-year-old woman.

Additionally, the first cases in Tredyffrin were found Monday.

Tredyffrin has two cases, one is a 28-year-old woman and the other is a 62-year-old man.

Chester County as of 2:30 p.m. Tuesday has 41 cases.

The county reports 448 tests have come back negative to date.

East Goshen Township has the most in Chester County with four cases.

As of Tuesday, Pennsylvania has 851 cases in 40 counties.
