Tredyffrin Health Inspection Reports: McDonalds, Marriot, Subway

The Chester County Department of Health has inspected 14 Tredyffrin area locations in the past few weeks, from the period of October 30 through December 4.

Cornupcopia @ De Lage Landen, on 1111 Old Eagle School Road in Wayne, led all comers with a whopping 13 violations.

Some of their violations are listed here below:

• The following raw foods observed stored incorrectly in the walk in freezer. Because these products enter the walk in freezer in a non frozen state, juice drippings can potentially cross contaminate underlying foods. 1-Raw burgers observed stored above pre-cooked chicken 2-Raw Beef /pork tray observed stored above a box of pretzels.
• Observed a netted bag of onions stored directly on the floor on the cook line, rather than 6 inches off of the floor as required.
• The following foods observed without proper sneeze guards. 1- Hot Line - 2 dishes, far right side on servery line 2- Deli line far right side; Chips / pretzels.
• Interior temperature measuring device for ensuring proper temperature of equipment is not available or readily accessible in the following equipment. 1- Cook Line - 4 drawer low boy unit. 2-Victory 3 door unit
• Rinse thermometer on the warewashing machine is not calibrated and is only reading 132 when temperatures are 182. Calibrate / replace thermometer.
