Tredyffrin Library Hosting Pop Up Theater
The play may cause audience members to take certain characters' sides as the play progresses. You won't want to miss it.

The Tredyffrin Public Library is breaking the library rule of being quiet by hosting a theatrical production in May. The pop up theater will bring a rethinking of a famous Swedish play to Tredyffrin.
The library will host a free showing of "Say No More," which is a retelling of August Strindberg's 1889 play "The Stronger."
Wild Plum Productions will present the show, which will star actors Christine Emmert, Richard Emmert and Katherine Mallon-Day.

Emmert herself adapted Stindberg's play for the production company.
The play is described as such:

Two women run into each other in a restaurant on Christmas Eve. One is married and has been out shopping for presents for her family, the other is unmarried and is sitting alone in the restaurant reading magazines and drinking. In Strindberg's original, the only speaking part belongs to one of the women. In this adaptation by Christine Emmert, each character, including the waiter, gets a voice. The audience is expected to take sides, maybe many sides as the story unfolds.
"This is a great opportunity for friends and neighbors to experience quality theater in our own Strafford Park," the library said of the May 5 Show. "No need to pay for parking, take the train, or purchase tickets! Just come to the library and we’ll transport you to a café in New York in the early 1940s on Christmas Eve."
The show will be held at 7:30 p.m. on May 5.
