Tredyffrin Officers Honored For 'Lifesaving' Heroics In 2015
The quick thinking and acts of three Tredyffrin officers undoubtedly saved a life.

TREDYFFRIN, PA -- Tredyffrin police officers were recently honored with a lifesaving award for their heroic work last year.
Sergeant Edward Spiller, Corporal Robert Reynolds, and Officer James Slavin were given the honor, presented by Good Fellowship Ambulance Corp, in recognition of a lifesaving event in 2015, the township announced.
The officers utilized their medical training and a medically issued drug called “Narcan” to revive a dying patient from a drug overdose, said Anthony Giaimo, superintendent of police.

Narcan Program Director Ethan Healy, Law Enforcement Liaison, and GFAC President Kim Holman presented the officers with the lifesaving awards and citation bars for their efforts.
Additionally, GFAC representatives recognized a number of officers throughout the county for their heroic efforts in saving lives.
