Tredyffrin Opening Some Parks, Trails Friday

TREDYFFRIN TOWNSHIP, PA — Some parks and trails in Tredyffrin Township will be reopening soon, according to officials.
The township said Wilson Farm Park, Mill Road Park and Teegarden Park will all be open soon.
Township trails and Teegarden Park will reopen Friday.

Restrooms, water fountains, playground equipment, courts and pavilions remain closed until further notice, however.
Park and trail users should keep six feet away from others and avoid crowded areas.

People who are exhibiting symptoms of the coronavirus — which are chills, repeated shaking with chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, a new loss of taste or smell, fever, cough and shortness of breath or difficulty breathing — should not use parks or trails.
Face coverings, such as surgical masks, bandannas, N95 masks, and other kinds of coverings are strongly recommended when out in public.
"As we reopen some limited access at Wilson Farm Park, Mill Road Park and Teegarden Park, we rely on the our Tredyffrin community to comply with the Governor’s guidelines and CDC recommendations," the township said in its announcement. "We know this has been a challenge for everyone but Tredyffrin residents have been doing a great job. We thank you for your efforts during the stay at home order and for honoring the closure of Tredyffrin recreational spaces. "
All township buildings and offices are closed until further notice.
