Tredyffrin Police Blotter: Assault, Theft, Drugs, More

Police said a Paoli man was in possession of 27 bundles of suspected heroin after being found slumped in his vehicle.

The blotter covers incidents that occurred between April 23 and May 13.

PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS

April 23, Swedesford Road in Wayne — Police charged a 59-year-old man from Royersford with Public Drunkenness after he was observed to be visibly intoxicated and unable to stand up on his own.

LITTERING

April 29, West Swedesford Road in Berwyn — The owner of the service station reported several bags of trash dumped in the parking lot. After an investigation was conducted, it was determined that the bags were dumped by Cory Lee Sutton, 37, of Lincoln University, Pennsylvania, who was employed by a cleaning and restoration company hired by a homeowner to assist in cleanup of their home. Sutton was charged with Scattering Rubbish.

ASSAULT

April 30, Strafford Avenue in Wayne — Police charged Armand Hasani, 27, of Wayne, with the following crimes: Simple Assault; Recklessly Endangering Another Person; Harassment and Disorderly Conduct after he was involved in a domestic dispute.

POSSESSION

May 4, West Circular Avenue in Paoli — Police were dispatched to the report of a male who appeared to be slumped over in a vehicle. Upon contact, officers observed him hunched over with paraphernalia in his hands and 27 bundles of suspected heroin were observed in the vehicle. The male — Daniel Rocco, 32, of Paoli — was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Paraphernalia.

PURSE THEFT

May 5, Strafford Acme store — The victim reported her purse stolen from the shopping cart after she left it unattended for a moment. The purse contained identification, social security card, credit cards and cash.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

May 7, Universal Alarm Systems in Paoli — A 22-year-old man from King of Prussia was charged with Criminal Mischief after he was observed on surveillance video kicking and damaging light fixtures in the parking lot.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE

May 10, McKenzie Brew House parking lot — The victim reported her car window smashed and her purse and contents stolen from the vehicle. The purse contained identification, social security card, credit cards and cash.

POSSESSION

May 13, Swedesford Road in Wayne — During a traffic stop, officers charged Michael Marcone, 41, of Springfield, with Possession of suspected Methamphetamine and Paraphernalia and Nicole Miller, 43, of Springfield, with Possession of Paraphernalia.

THE FOLLOWING INDIVIDUALS WERE ARRESTED FOR DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE. THE LAB RESULTS AND/OR CHEMICAL BREATH TESTING HAVE BEEN OFFICIALLY VERIFIED AND DETERMINED TO BE UNFIT TO OPERATE A MOTOR VEHICLE SAFELY ON THE ROADWAY.

  • Suzanne Allaire, 42, of Philadelphia - Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) was .202 percent
  • Mercedes Lyons-Cox, 30, of Downingtown - BAC was .161 percent. Marijuana & Amphetamine were also present in her system.
  • Emmanuel Velez, 20, of Philadelphia – Marijuana and Amphetamine were present in his system.
  • Dylan Zeigler, 28, of Phoenixville – BAC was .196 percent
