Tredyffrin Police Blotter: Assault, Thefts From Unlocked Vehicles, Possession
Police said several reports of thefts from vehicles have been made and are urging residents to lock vehicles at all times.

TREDYFFRIN TOWNSHIP, PA – Tredyffrin Township Police released their latest crime report Tuesday, Aug. 22.
The report highlights police activity that occurred between Aug. 9 and Aug. 21.

POSSESSION
Aug. 9, Swedesford Road in Malvern – During a traffic stop, Joaquin Gomez, 39, of Philadelphia, was charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana and paraphernalia.

ASSAULT
Aug. 9, South Valley Road in Paoli – Police charged Dominique Taylor, 31, of Philadelphia, with simple assault causing bodily injury; harassment and disorderly conduct after she was involved in a domestic dispute.
THEFTS FROM VEHICLES
Several thefts from unlocked vehicles have been reported throughout the township within the last week. Items stolen include loose change, laptop, a wallet with contents, clothing, credit cards and identification. Police are urging residents to remove valuables from the vehicles and make sure vehicles are locked at all times.
POSSESSION
Aug. 16, Bradford Road in Chesterbrook – Police were called to a suspicious condition. Upon contact with the subjects, officers detected the odor or marijuana. Subsequently, Nicholas Hachey, 24, of Wayne, was charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana and paraphernalia and disorderly conduct.
POSSESSION
Aug. 16, Route 252 – During a traffic stop, police charged Ferdinand Ramos, 36, of Philadelphia, with possession of a small amount of marijuana and paraphernalia.
THEFT FROM VEHICLE
Aug. 21, Wilson Farm Park – The victim reported the vehicle’s window smashed out and their purse stolen from the front seat. The purse contained ID, credit cards, U.S. currency and gift cards. Police remind residents not to leave valuables in their vehicles.
