BURGLARY

Dec. 24, Berkley Road in Devon — Police were dispatched to the report of a burglary in progress. The actors did not have permission to be in the apartment. Layla Cruz Garcia, 24, of Philadelphia, was charged with the following crimes: burglary and criminal trespass and Joel Cabrera, 23, of Philadelphia, was charged with burglary, criminal trespass and possession of a small amount of marijuana.
FALSE POLICE REPORTS
Dec. 30, Lancaster Avenue in Devon — During a traffic stop, police charged Zakur Williams, 24, of Upper Darby, with false identification to law enforcement authorities after he knowingly provided the wrong information to the officers.
POSSESSION
Dec. 31, Gateway Shopping Center — Police charged Milton Hall, 46 and Anthony Manis, 52, both of Philadelphia, with possession of a small amount of marijuana and paraphernalia during a traffic stop.
THEFTS FROM VEHICLES
Jan. 4, Lifetime Fitness in Wayne — Three victims reported their vehicles had the windows smashed and belongings stolen from inside the vehicles. Stolen items included purses, wallets, cash, several gift cards, credit cards, and identification. The case is under investigation.
POSSESSION
Jan. 4, Target Store in Strafford — Police charged Generio Senquiz, 26, of Newark, Delaware with possession of paraphernalia after officers detected the odor of marijuana in the vehicle.
RETAIL THEFT
Jan. 5, Target Store in Strafford — Police charged Jose Rodriguez, 34, of Wilmington, Delaware with retail theft and receiving stolen property after it was determined that he was the actor in thefts of computer equipment from the store.
ASSAULT
Jan. 7, 100 block of Daylesford Boulevard in Berwyn — Police charged Charles Grose, 57, of Berwyn, with simple assault and harassment after he was involved in a domestic altercation.
The following individuals were arrested for driving under the influence. The lab results and/or chemical breath testing have been officially verified and determined to be unfit to operate a motor vehicle safely on the roadway:
- Drazen Cvijanovic, 42, of West Chester, PA - Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) was .195 percent
- Jason Evans, 45, of Kennett Square, PA – BAC was .097 percent
- Tatyana Shister, 36, of Philadelphia, PA – BAC was greater than .300 percent
- Jamie Weltz, 34, of Devon, PA – Alcohol, marijuana and oxycodone were present in her system.
