Tredyffrin Police Blotter: Drug Possession, Phone Scam, More
In their latest crime report, police are warning residents of a potential increase in thefts from vehicles as temperatures warm up.

TREDYFFRIN TOWNSHIP, PA – Tredyffrin Township Police issued their most recent crime report on Wednesday, April 11.
The new report covers incidents that occurred between March 27 and April 10.
Incidents included drug possession, phone scams, disorderly conduct, Felony Lane Gang arrests, and more.

Police are also warning residents of an increased threat of thefts from vehicles due to coming warm weather. Police said valuables should never be left in vehicles, especially items such as checkbooks, passports, and ID cards among other items.
"Thieves look for anything out in the open such as purses left on the seat," police said. "It takes seconds to have your window smashed and belongings stolen. This includes trail parking lots, shopping centers and day care centers."

POSSESSION
March 27, Route 202 – During a traffic stop, police charged Julio Quintero, 31, of Norristown, PA with possession of a small amount of marijuana and paraphernalia.
POSSESSION
March 29, Lancaster Avenue in Devon – During a traffic stop, police charged Justin Dami, 22, of Elverson, PA with possession of a small amount of marijuana and paraphernalia.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT
April 4, Paoli Train Station – Police were dispatched to a report of a male causing a disturbance. The male, a 69 year old from Philadelphia, was charged with disorderly conduct after he continued to use obscene language in the presence of other passengers.
PHONE SCAM
April 9 – The reporting party advised they received a phone call from someone claiming to be from the Chester County Sheriff’s Office in reference to missing jury duty and could be arrested. They were directed to pay a $2,000 "fine" by going to a store and purchasing "Dot" cards (reloadable gift cards). The Sheriff’s Office was called and confirmed it was a scam. Police remind residents that anyone who calls asking for payment via gift cards, iTunes cards, etc. are scams.
FELONY LANE GANG ARRESTS
April 9, Bank of America in Paoli – While on patrol, Officers observed suspicious activity in the far lane of the bank’s drive-thru. This lane is commonly referred to as "Felony Lane" as it is used by thieves for fraudulent transactions after a victim’s belongings were stolen from their cars. Officers were able to identify three actors involved in the theft and subsequently charged Rachel Rouijel, 24, of West Palm Beach, FL; Domineke Miller, 25, of Fort Lauderdale, FL and Terrance Brooks, 25, of Fort Lauderdale, FL with the following crimes: bad checks; unauthorized use of a credit card; forgery; receiving stolen property and identity theft. The trio were unable to post bail and were transported to Chester County Prison to await their hearings.
POSSESSION
April 10, Route 202 – During a traffic stop, police charged Andre Hamlin-Bramble, 25, of Philadelphia, with possession of a small amount of marijuana and paraphernalia.
The following individuals were arrested for driving under the influence. The lab results and/or chemical breath testing have been officially verified and determined to be unfit to operate a motor vehicles safely on the roadway
- Kevin McCoach, 29, of Broomall - Blood Alcohol Concentration was .172 percent
- Francis McCue, 61, of West Chester – BAC was .153 percent
- Tyler Victorius, 30, of Havertown – BAC was .155 percent
