Tredyffrin Police Blotter: Stolen Vehicle, Assault, Road Rage

During a July traffic stop, police learned the vehicle was stolen and allege one of the men in it was selling drugs. Full blotter here.

TREDYFFRIN TOWNSHIP, PA – Police in Tredyffrin released their newest crime blotter on Thursday, highlighting police activity that occurred between June 13 and Aug. 7.

Police handled a stolen vehicle case, a road rage incident, several thefts, and DUIs.

THEFT

June 13, Vanguard Group in Malvern – Ronald Killion, 36, of Darby, was charged with theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property after taking materials that belonged to the company.

RECOVERED STOLEN VEHICLE

July 26, Paoli Shopping Center – During a traffic stop, it was determined that the vehicle was reported stolen. The occupants of the vehicle, Malikia Craddle, 37, of Philadelphia, was charged with receiving stolen property and Rasheen McDonald, 33, of Philadelphia, was charged with receiving stolen property; possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia and possession with the intent to deliver.

POSSESSION

July 28, Route 202 – During a traffic stop, police charged Jashieda Rodriguez, 26, of Philadelphia, with possession of a small amount of marijuana and paraphernalia.

RETAIL THEFT

July 28, Fine Wine & Good Spirits store in Gateway Shopping Center – Store employees reported two males exited the store without paying for two bottles of tequila totaling $44. The case is under investigation.

ROAD RAGE

July 28, Swedesford Road in Wayne – Police charged a 57-year-old male from Malvern with harassment after he was involved in a road rage incident.

ASSAULT

July 31, Chesterbrook Shopping Center – Police charged Blaine Warkentine, 49, of Berwyn, with the following crimes after he was involved in a domestic dispute: simple assault; harassment; stalking; unauthorized use of a vehicle and theft by unlawful taking.

PICKPOCKET

Aug. 4, Trader Joes store in Gateway Shopping Center – The victim reported their wallet stolen while shopping in the store. The wallet was valued at approximately $150 and contained several credit cards.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE

Aug. 7, Paoli Place North – The victim reported their iPhone and wallet were stolen out of their unlocked vehicle during the overnight hours. The value of the items is between $350 and $400. The case is under investigation.

EMPLOYEE THEFT

Aug. 1, Pier One Imports store in Paoli – After an investigation was conducted, it was determined that Alyssa Davies, 29, of Wayne, was responsible for over $5,000 in fraudulent returns and issuing credits and refunds to herself.

POSSESSION

Aug. 1, Swedesford Road in Berwyn – Police charged Daniel D’Angelo, 27, of Trenton, New Jersey, with possession of a small amount of marijuana and paraphernalia after officers observed him asleep in the car while in the parking lot.

PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS

Aug. 4, Darby Road in Paoli – Police charged a 53-year-old female from Devon with public drunkenness after officers observed her to be visibly intoxicated.

The following individuals were arrested for driving under the influence. The lab results and/or chemical breath testing have been officially verified and determined to be unfit to operate a motor vehicle safely on the roadway.

  • Karen Chubin, 56, of Norristown – Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) was .251 percent
  • Cornelius Sisson, 34, of Paoli – BAC was .154 percent
