Tredyffrin Police Blotter: Trespassing, Thefts, Public Drunkenness​

Police released their latest report listing the incidents they responded to between Sept. 11 and Sept. 20. See details here.

TREDYFFRIN TOWNSHIP, PA – Tredyffrin Township Police issued their latest crime report highlighting police activity in the area.

The report covers incidents from Sept. 11 to Sept. 20.

Incidents included thefts, trespassing, public drunkenness and more.

RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY

Sept. 11, Lancaster Avenue in Paoli – Michael Williams, 29, of Coatesville, was charged with receiving stolen property and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle after officers determined the motorcycle was reported stolen from another jurisdiction.

THEFT

Sept. 14, 600 block of Lancaster Avenue in Strafford – The theft of a construction trench roller, valued between $10,000 and $15,000 was reported to police. The case is under investigation.

THEFT

Sept. 16, 1000 block of Upper Gulph Road in Wayne – William Byrd, 49, of Wayne, was charged with theft by unlawful taking; receiving stolen property and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle after he took a vehicle without asking permission from the owner.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE

Sept. 17, Crestline Road in Wayne – The victim reported their vehicle was entered during the overnight hours. Loose change and sunglasses were stolen from the vehicle.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE

Sept. 18, Lifetime Fitness in Wayne – The victim reported that unknown actors entered their vehicle and stole a bag containing hunting knives, clothing and shotgun shells. The case is under investigation.

THEFT

Sept. 18, 500 block of Cassatt Road – While officers were conducting speed enforcement, they observed a male take one of the units used to measure speeds from the side of the road. The male, Nicholas Miccariello, 53, of Royersford, was subsequently charged with theft by unlawful taking.

TRESPASSING

Sept. 29, Camp Jarvis in Devon – Several 17- and 18-year-old individuals from Berwyn, Devon and Wayne were charged with defiant trespassing after they admitted to setting off fireworks while “hanging out” at the camp.

PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS

Sept. 20, Sunoco A-Plus in Berwyn – A 53 year old female from Wayne, was charged with public drunkenness after officers observed her to be visibly intoxicated.

The following individuals were arrested for driving under the influence. The lab results and/or chemical testing have been officially verified and determined to be unfit to operate a motor vehicle safely on a roadway.

  • Reshena Dati, 49, of Royersford – Diazepam and Marijuana were detected in her system
  • Donna Linehan, 51, of Paoli - Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) was .161%
