Tredyffrin Police Hosting 5K, Mile Walk Benefiting Race For Peace

Race for Peace is a local group that seeks to improve police-community relations through summits, events, youth outreach, and more.

WAYNE, PA — Race for Peace is a Philadelphia-area organization seeking to improve police-community relations. And The Tredyffrin Township Police Department is looking to support the effort with a 5k fun run and 1-mile walk.

From 9 a.m. to noon on Sunday, June 9 at Wilson Farm Park in Wayne, police will host the event which will benefit Race for Peace

Registration costs $20 and completed forms can be mailed to or dropped off at the Tredyffrin Township Police Department, 1100 DuPortail Road in Berwyn.

The registration deadline is 4 p.m. Friday, June 7.

Race day registration and packet pick up will be available from 7:30 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. at Wilson Farm Park.

Checks are the only accepted form of payment, police said.
