Man Assaults Person With Special Needs: Tredyffrin Police Report
A Delaware man allegedly assaulted and neglected a person with special needs, police said. See the full report and more details here.

TREDYFFRIN TOWNSHIP, PA – Police in Tredyffrin Township issued their most recent crime report on Thursday, Jan. 25. The report covers incidents between Dec. 21 and Jan. 22 that occurred in the township.
Some highlights include various thefts, providing false identification, assault, drug and paraphernalia possession, and more.

ASSAULT
Dec. 21, 900 block of Radnor Road – After an investigation was conducted, Detectives charged Howard Dorman, 31, of Seaford, Delaware, with the following crimes after he assaulted a resident with special needs: simple assault; possession of an instrument of crime; harassment; and neglect of care of a dependent person.
POSSESSION
Jan. 3, Route 202 – During a traffic stop, officers charged Jahlil Shields-Brown, 22, of Sicklerville, New Jersey, and Deja Burton, 22, of Philadelphia, with possession of a small amount of marijuana and paraphernalia.

THEFTS FROM AUTO
Jan. 10, Devon Village Shops Parking Lot – Two vehicles’ windows were smashed out and had a backpack and purse stolen. The bags included passports, a checkbook, tablet, laptop and cash. The case is under investigation.
POSSESSION
Jan. 10, Matthews Road in Malvern – During a traffic stop, officers charged Kristopher Purnell, 33, of Malvern, with possession of a small amount of marijuana and paraphernalia.
THEFT FROM AUTO
Jan. 11, Crestline Road in Wayne – Two homeowners reported that someone entered their unlocked vehicles during the overnight hours. Loose change was stolen from the cars.
POSSESSION
Jan. 11, Lancaster Avenue in Paoli – During a traffic stop, officers charged Guillermo Dominquez Morales, 29, of Norristown, with possession of a small amount of marijuana and paraphernalia.
THEFT FROM AUTO
Jan. 11, 300 block of Homestead Road in Wayne – The victim reported their vehicle was rummaged through during the overnight hours. Loose change and a key fob was stolen from the vehicle.
WALLET THEFT
Jan. 12, Paoli Acme store – The victim reported their wallet stolen from their purse while shopping in the store. The wallet contained credit cards and cash.
FALSE IDENTIFICATION
Jan. 18, Wine & Spirits Shop in Wayne – A 20-year-old male from North Huntington, Pennsylvania was charged with providing false identification for purchasing liquor as a minor after he was unsuccessful in his attempt to purchase bottles of alcohol.
POSSESSION
Jan. 20, Lancaster Avenue in Paoli – During a traffic stop, officers charged Gursimran Singh, 20, of King of Prussia, with possession of a small amount of marijuana.
RETAIL THEFT ARREST
Jan. 22, TJ Maxx store in Gateway Shopping Center – Police were dispatched to the report of retail theft. Two actors fled the store, but were apprehended a short time later by officers. Upon contact with the actors, a search of the vehicle revealed other stores’ stolen merchandise. The actors – Amin Shamsid-Deen, 24 and Tunisia Shamsid-Deen, 26, both of Philadelphia – were charged with the following crimes: criminal conspiracy; possession of an instrument of crime, and retail Ttheft. Shamsid-Deen had an additional charge of false identification to law enforcement authorities after she provided officers with the wrong name.
THEFT
Jan. 22, Lifetime Fitness in Wayne – Two victims reported their belongings stolen from the lockers in the men’s locker room. The case is currently under investigation.
The following individuals were arrested for driving under theinfluence. The lab results and/or chemical breath testing have been officially verified and determined to be unfit to operate a motor vehicles safely on the roadway
- Edzon Castrejon, 18, of Norristown, PA – Marijuana and Clonazepam was detected in his system
- Cristian Castro, 28, of Malvern, PA - Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) was .169%
- Brian Pedlow, 23, of Wayne, PA – Marijuana was detected in his system
