Tredyffrin Police Responding To "Petty Vandalism" With Increased Patrols
Police are warning teens of how being hit with vandalism charges can affect their lives in hopes of curbing recent vandalism,

Tredyffrin Township Police are reporting acts of "petty vandalism" around sections of the township and said they plan to ramp up patrols in an effort to stop the vandalism.
According to police, the incidents occurred during the late evening and overnight hours in the Chesterbrook & "Shand Tract" areas of the township.
Police said the vandalism is not major, but does include some damage to private, public, and township property.

"This is unacceptable," police said on Facebook. "In response to these incidents, we're going to be increasing patrols in these areas, both in marked and unmarked vehicles. If caught, arrests will be made and charges will be pressed."
Police are imploring parents to keep watch of their children's' activities, especially during nighttime hours.

And for teens, police had this to say: "An arrest for criminal mischief doesn't look too good on college
applications, court-ordered community service really cramps your social life, and restitution for damages definitely cuts into the shore money. Have fun. Be kids. All we ask it that you do it safely and respectfully."
