Tredyffrin Residents Graduate Citizens Police Academy
Congratulations to the citizens who joined the 2018 Tredyffrin Township Police Department Citizens Police Academy.

TREDYFFRIN TOWNSHIP, PA – A group of dedicated citizens in Tredyffrin Township recently completed the 17th Tredyffrin Township Police Department Citizens Police Academy where they were schooled on all things law enforcement.
The 11-week class covered topics including domestic violence awareness, an overview of the criminal justice system, traffic law enforcement procedures, DUI and drug investigations, patrol procedures, and much more.
Attendees also heard from guest speakers and Tredyffrin Township Police Officers with advanced training and experience in various topics each night of the course.

"We could not have put this class on without the help and support of the Tredyffrin Officers, Detective Secretary Christina Johnson and Supt. Mike Beaty," police said.
The Citizens Police Academy mission is to educate local residents about the police department.

"Due to the transparent nature of the program, it fosters a deep understanding of police work and creates new relationships between the officers and the township residents with whom they serve, police said. "We are grateful for our new friends in the community - Thank You!"
