Tredyffrin Seeking Public Input On Wilson Farm Park Improvements
The township is looking to see what the public thinks of improvement plans at the park, which include new additions, upgrades, and more.

TREDYFFRIN TOWNSHIP, PA — Community members are asked to weigh in on improvements at Wilson Farm Park in the Wayne section of Tredyffrin Township.
To get residents' input, the township launched an online survey.

All responses will be anonymous. After the survey is completed, responses will be compiled and analyzed and results will be posted on the township website.

Residents can also weigh in on the work at the upcoming Jen. 13 meeting at 7 p.m. in Keene Hall at the Township Building, 1100 DuPortail Road in Berwyn.
Below are improvements planned for the park:
Playgrounds
- For all three play areas: upgrade play equipment; add all abilities equipment were feasible; new poured in place safety surface; shade structure and/or trees; new benches.
- Specifically at the main northern play ground: add all abilities and standard zip line; new play equipment for older children; poured in place safety surface.
Picnic Pavilions
- Ceiling fans in outdoor pavilions; increase electrical capacity of pavilions; replace bathroom mirrors; repair and paint pavilion siding.
New Spray Play Area
- At the central concessions play area add a new spray play area and integrate a new open pavilion/sitting area to accommodate spray play and summer camp use.
New Pickleball Courts
- Transform the putting green into four pickleball courts.
Pond Area Access and Planting Improvements
- Pond edge boardwalk (dock) with railing and seating for waterfront access; removal of invasive plants; new plantings.
Lee Road Entry
- Enhance entry planting; New digital sign (announce program and events).
Main Allee and Amphitheater
- Repairs to main staircase; New up-lights for main allee trees; upgrade older amplifiers.
Baseball/Softball dugouts (6) Improvements
- Remove wood cladding, paint metal frames, add new cladding (plastic timber / metal / screen) to reduce maintenance and improve air flow.
Park wide Improvements
- Replace drinking fountains; planting enhancements, seal asphalt walkways.
Maintenance Area
- Add second maintenance building; better access; add planting; add site lighting for safety.
