The police department is offering social media users a chance to win free Tredyffrin Township Police Department t-shirt.
Police said on Facebook that the 1,000th person to "like" its Facebook page will win a t-shirt. Additionally, the 500th person to follow the police department's Twitter account will also win a shirt.

As of Friday at 9 a.m., the Facebook page has 986 likes and the twitter feed has 472 followers.
