The remnants of Tropical Depression Fred brought significant rain, flooding, and tornado warnings to Tredyffrin Township in the early morning hours of August 19, 2021. At one point overnight, the Township received 4+ inches of rain in an hour, causing severe damage across the Township.

Tredyffrin’s Public Works staff have been working since 1:00 AM to attempt to clear roads of debris and every Township resource is now deployed and working to assess the severity of issues, to clear roads and complete any remediation necessary.
The Township asks residents to use caution when driving on roads, as crews are still clearing trees and debris from the roadways. Please use caution with standing water remaining on roadways, as well. It is important that drivers obey any emergency closures and detours.
