Truck And Shed Fire Jumpstart Berwyn, Radnor Fire Companies' 2019

The firefighters in the Berwyn and Radnor fire companies ended their New Year's Day with battling a truck and shed fire.

TREDYFFRIN TOWNSHIP, PA – Fire crews on the Main Line were called to action hours into 2019 when a truck and shed fire broke out in Tredyffrin Township on New Year's Day.

Berwyn and Radnor fire company crews were called to the 300 block of McMull Drive in Tredyffrin at about 9:09 p.m. Tuesday for a report of a truck and shed fire, according to the Radnor Fire Company.

Crews found a commercial Chevrolet pick-up truck's engine compartment fully involved and fire extension to the front of a nearby shed, the fire company said.

The fire was knocked back quickly which allowed firefighters to get in the shed and ensure the fire was out.

No one was hurt in the fire and the scene was clear by about 9:45 p.m., according to the Radnor Fire Company.
