Two Arrested In Tredyffrin After Fabricating Armed Robbery

A motive for their claims remains unclear.

TREDYFFRIN, PA -- Two individuals were arrested in Tredyffrin Township after allegedly fabricating a story of an armed robbery.

Nadirah K. Braggs, 38, of Philadelphia, Imani Tamia Whitmore of Harrisburg, and a 17-year-old male juvenile have all been charged in the incident.

The three were allegedly involved in contributing a report of an armed robbery on Sunday, March 27 at about 8 p.m., police said.

They claimed the incident occurred at E. Swedesford Road near Old Eagle School Road, police said.

Law enforcement soon determined their claims to be untrue.

They will be charged with Unsworn Falsification to Law Authorities, a Misdemeanor of the 2nd degree; Disorderly Conduct, a Misdemeanor of the 3rd degree, Criminal Conspiracy, a Misdemeanor of the 3rd degree and False Reports to Law Enforcement, a Misdemeanor of the 3rd degree, among other offenses.
