Valley Forge To Hold Veterans Day 2015 Celebration
Get in the American spirit on Wednesday.

Valley Forge National Historical Park will hold Veterans Day celebration and honor the 70th anniversary of the end of World War II this Wednesday, they announced on Monday.
Commemoration services will be held at 11 a.m. at the National Memorial Arch on South Outer Line Drive in the Park to honor all of America’s military, the statement said.
The commemoration will feature two keynote speakers:

· Kevin Ferris, Army Veteran and author of Unbreakable Bonds and Retired Army Major
· Bob Donnelly, Valley Forge National Historical Park Ranger

Opening remarks will be delivered by Valley Forge and Hopewell Furnace Superintendent Kate Hammond and Montgomery County Commission Chairman Josh Shapiro.
Concluding the event will be an Oath of Enlistment Ceremony conducted by the Harrisburg Military Processing Station inducting the newest military recruits under the arch commemorating the formation and standardization of the first Army of the United States.
Additional activities include: Ranger Tours leaving from the park theater at 12:20 p.m. and 2:20 p.m., American military throughout the ages living history at the Muhlenberg Brigade Huts, and a book signing by Ferris, also at the Muhlenberg Brigade Huts.
