Vehicle Theft, Underage Drinking, Assault: Tredyffrin Police

TREDYFFRIN TOWNSHIP, PA – Tredyffrin Township Police released their latest crime report, highlighting police activity from Aug. 23 to Sept. 4.
Police handled various incidents, including a stolen vehicle, underage drinking, possession, and assault.

POSSESSION
Aug. 23, Route 253 – Orestes Frangakis, 18, of Wayne, was charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana and paraphernalia during a traffic stop.

ASSAULT/ POSSESSION
Aug. 24, Glenhardie Condos – Police charged Victor Quinn, 21, of Berwyn, with the following crimes after assaulting the victim: stalking, simple assault causing bodily injury, and terroristic threats. Quinn was later charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana and paraphernalia when officers detected the odor of marijuana while contacting Quinn in his vehicle.
POSSESSION
Aug. 25, East Central Avenue in Paoli – Heather Herzog, 55, of Paoli, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia during a traffic stop.
STOLEN VEHICLE
Aug. 26, Wembley Drive in Wayne – After an investigation stemming from the August 25 pursuit of a vehicle previously reported stolen from the Philadelphia area, Mark Clark, 26, of Philadelphia, was charged with receiving stolen property.
A separate investigation into the reported theft of a motor vehicle from Tredyffrin Township on Aug. 26 lead to subsequent charges against Clark for theft of a motor vehicle and other related offenses.
POSSESSION
Aug. 27, Route 202 – Michael Dunn, 18, of Philadelphia, was charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana during a traffic stop.
THEFT FROM VEHICLE
Aug. 28, Glenhardie Road in Wayne – The victim reported their unlocked vehicle was rummaged through by actors unknown. Stolen from the vehicle was loose change.
Police remind residents to secure your vehicles at all times and not to leave valuables in there.
UNDERAGE DRINKING
Aug. 28, Route 202 – A 19-year-old female from Lawrenceville, New Jersey was charged with underage drinking.
POSSESSION
Aug. 30, Swedesford Road in Berwyn – Maurice Webster, 59, of Philadelphia, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop.
PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS
Aug. 30, Chesterbrook Shopping Center – A 38-year-old male from Paoli was charged with public drunkenness after officers observed him to be visibly intoxicated.
POSSESSION
Sept. 2, Route 202 – Emma Vandernoot, 22, of West Chester, was charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana and paraphernalia during a traffic stop.
ASSAULT
Sept. 4, Old Eagle School Road in Wayne – Alexander Plache, 59, of Wayne, was charged with simple assault causing bodily injury and harassment after he was involved in an altercation.
The following individuals were arrested for driving under the influence. The lab results and/or chemical breath testing have been officially verified and determined to be unfit to operate a motor vehicle safely on the roadway.
- Andrew Burger, 23, of Wayne - Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) was .190 percent
- Jeffrey Butler, 33, of West Chester – BAC was .150 percent
- Shaun MacEachern, 44, of Malvern – BAC was .198 percent
- Smitaben Patel, 46, of Wayne - BAC was .165 percent
- Justin Taylor, 23, of Boyertown – BAC was .144 percent
