EASTTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — Two municipal entities in Easttown Township have vacant seats that need to be filled.
Easttown Township is looking for volunteers to apply for seats on the Historical Commission and the Easttown Library Board of Trustees.
Applications are being accepted now through Feb. 4.

Historical Commission
Easttown Township seeks a volunteer for a vacant position on its Historical Commission (HC). As an advisory group, the HC provides historical preservation information to residents and makes recommendations to the Board of Supervisors on the rehabilitation, preservation, adaptive reuse, restoration, and acquisition of significant historical structures and sites. Interested candidates must be residents of the Township and have availability on the evenings of the second Wednesday each month for regular business meetings. Residents interested in historic properties with the following backgrounds are encouraged apply: architects, architectural or art historians, attorneys, museum curators, realtors, historic home restoration, historic commission/HARB or residents who simply love researching history, historic homes, and the people who lived in them. The term of this vacancy expires on Dec. 31, 2024.
Easttown Library Board of Trustees Vacancy
Easttown Township seeks a volunteer for a vacant position on its Easttown Library Board of Trustees (Library Board). As an advisory group, the Library Board oversees the efficient operation of the Easttown Library by establishing policies and long-term goals, initiating and overseeing the budget process, promoting and advocating for the Library, and hiring and subsequently evaluating the Library Director’s performance. Interested candidates must be residents of the Township and have availability on the evenings of the fourth Wednesday of each month. Residents with background in commercial or non-profit finance and accounting are encouraged to apply. The term of this vacancy expires on Dec. 31, 2024.
