WATCH: Local Responders Honor Fallen Veterans At Devon Horse Show

Representatives from area fire and police departments honored fallen military servicemen and women on Memorial Day at the Devon Horse Show.

DEVON, PA – With the Devon Horse Show underway, the area is full of furor over the prestigious, massive, equestrian event. But on Monday, local first responders honored the fallen veterans who gave their lives serving the country.

Representatives from Berwyn and Radnor fire companies and Easttown, and Radnor township police departments paid tribute to passed veterans at the horse show Monday.

Also joining the departments in the tribute were representatives from Valley Forge Military Academy & College and the Church Farm School Choir.

Not only did the groups honor veterans who died in their service, they recognized PennSTAR Medevac Pilot Michael R. Murphy who tragically lost his life on May 25 while flying a helicopter for the University of Pennsylvania Health System in New Castle, Delaware.
