Water Main Work To Affect Tredyffrin Twp. Roads

The project to install more than 3,000 feet of new pipe begins Monday.

TREDYFFRIN, PA – Aqua PA is set to begin a major project in Tredyffrin Township to install thousands of feet of water main pipe, and the work will affect traffic on a few township roads.

Starting Monday, Aug. 28, Aqua will replace the existing 16-inch and 6-inch cast iron water main on East Central Avenue from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. between Bear Hill and Pennington roads, as well as on Vincent Road from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.between East Central Avenue and a point 1000 feet west of Orchard Road.

The water company will be installing of 1,450 feet of 16-inch and 2,040 feet of 8-inch ductile iron pipe.

Access will be provided for emergency, mail and trash services. Residents will have access to their properties, but at times will need to enter from different directions due to changing work zones.
