Wayne Bakery Donates Sweet Treats To Paoli Hospital Workers

PAOLI, PA — The folks fighting coronavirus at Paoli Hospital got a little boost from a bakery in Wayne.

Mike and Erin Shine, owners of Nothing Bundt Cakes in the Gateway Shopping Center in Wayne, have chipped in to support the front line health care workers.

The bakery is donated 310 individual bundt cakes to the Paoli Hospital for workers Thursday.

"We were asked by the Paoli Hospital volunteer organization if we might be able to help support the hospital staff who are working round the clock in these trying times," the Shines said.

The 300 cakes is enough to give each of the nurses, doctors, and other essential staff working at Paoli Hospital a treat.

"We are incredibly grateful to Nothing Bundt Cakes for helping to lift the spirits of our frontline staff during this COVID-19 outbreak," said Jim Paradis, President of Paoli Hospital, part of Main Line Health. "The outpouring of support from our community and local businesses has been inspiring and much appreciated by our entire team at Paoli Hospital and across Main Line Health."
