Wayne Firm Recognized As Stellar Place To Work

Navigate management consulting firm named best small firm to work for for the second year in a row.

A Wayne-based management consulting firm has received two distinguishing honors recently, as it was named one of the best places to work in Pennsylvania and the best small consulting firm to work for in the country by two different outlets.

Navigate was dubbed by Consulting Magazine the Best Small Firm to Work For in the magazine's 2016 ranking. This marks the second year in a row the magazine has selected the Wayne firm for the top honors.

According to a Navigate press release, the firm was ranked first in four of six measured categories, which are Firm Culture, Client Engagement, Leadership, and Compensation & Benefits. Navigate came in second and third in the Career Development and Work/Life Balance categories, respectively.

"This recognition validates Navigate’s emphasis on creating and maintaining culture, and the priority we place on attracting and retaining highly skilled and motivated professionals who are able to solve complex business problems, which in turn allow us to better serve our clients," Navigate Partner David Crossed said of earning the magazine's top spot.

On top of the Consulting Magazine honors, the firm was also named one of Pennsylvania's best places to work in 2016 as art of a program by Team Pennsylvania Foundation, the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development, the Pennsylvania State Council of the Society for Human Resource Management, and the Central Penn Business Journal.

"I founded Navigate to be a firm focused on core values and built on a commitment to a collaborative company culture that would in turn provide a better experience for our clients," Navigate Founder and Managing Partner Robert Kathol said. "This award is particularly meaningful to us and validates that as we have grown, we have remained committed to prioritizing our team as well as to our roots here in Pennsylvania."

Companies from across the state entered the two-part process to determine the 100 Best Places to Work in PA. The first part of this process assessed each nominated company's workplace policies, practices, philosophies, systems, and demographics. The rest of the process was based on an employee survey to measure the employee experience.

Though Navigate's specific ranking among the Best Places to Work in PA has not been revealed, the firm will find out it's rank at the Best Places to Work in PA awards banquet on Thursday, Dec. 1, at the Lancaster County Convention Center in Lancaster.
