Wayne Man Cashed Checks Stolen From Vehicle: Police
The man was cashing checks that weren't his and now faces several charges, including two felonies, related to the crime.

WAYNE, PA – A Wayne man who allegedly cashed checks that were stolen from a vehicle is behind bars and facing several charges, including two felonies, related to the crime, according to Tredyffrin Township Police.
Anthony Flores, 31, of Wayne, has been charged with felony forgery and felony unauthorized use of a credit card, as well as theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property, and loitering and prowling at night, according to court records and police.
Police allege Flores cashed the stolen checks locally.

Police were alerted to the crime after receiving a report of checks that were stolen from a vehicle and had been cashed locally on Sept. 28, according to police and court records.
After an investigation, police pinpointed Flores as the suspect and arrested him that day, according to court documents.

Flores was released from custody following his Oct. 5 preliminary arraignment where he posted 10 percent of $5,000 bail, court records show.
Flores is set to appear for his preliminary hearing on Nov. 3, according to court documents.
