Wires, Tree Crash Down On Irish Road In Berwyn
Breaking: Hundreds of PECO customers have been affected by the wires coming down and Irish Road is closed for the time being.

BERWYN, PA – Power lines and a tree fell to the ground Tuesday morning in Tredyffrin Township, causing Irish Road to close as crews work to clear the area.
According to the Berwyn Fire Company and the Tredyffrin Township Police Department, the wires and a tree came down at about 6:30 a.m. on the 200 block of Irish Road in Berwyn.
As the situation continues, the road will be closed between Greene Road and Lizbeth Lane.

Police said drivers are to avoid the area and find alternate routes.
PECO's outage map shows hundreds are without power in the area and estimates power will be restored to the area by the late afternoon.
