WONDERING OR WANDERING? BERWYN SYNAGOGUE HOSTS OPEN HOUSE AUGUST 23
Prospective and Current Members To Enjoy Picnic With Sundaes, Meet Rabbi Jacob, Tour School & Make 'n Take Rosh Hashanah Craft
Congregation Or Shalom, the conservative synagogue of the western Main Line, is hosting an August 23 Open House for local adults and families who may be searching for a synagogue and religious school. The Open House, featuring a picnic, will be held at the synagogue from 5 to 7 pm. Congregation Or Shalom is conveniently located on Route 252 in Berwyn, just 3 miles from Lancaster Avenue (Route 30).
Rabbi Jacob Rosner and Education Director Na’ama Yarden will welcome prospective members and current families at a Sunday picnic complete with a make-your-own sundae table. Singles, couples and families are invited to tour the synagogue and school, play outdoor games and make and take a Rosh Hashanah craft. Meet your Jewish neighbors and learn about Congregation Or Shalom’s wide variety of programs for Jews of all ages.
The friendly synagogue prides itself as a small community where everyone knows your name! The synagogue offers traditional High Holiday services; Friday night and Saturday morning worship; a Hebrew school; year-round adult education; Sisterhood, Men’s Club and a Judaica gift shop.
