Woodlynde School Appoints New Board Members

Woodlynde School recently appointed Andrew Renninger and John Schmader to its board of trustees.

STRAFFORD, Pa. – Woodlynde School recently welcomed two new members to its board of trustees: Andrew Renninger of Wynnewood and John Schmader of Newtown Square.

Renninger is a 2008 graduate of Woodlynde School. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Franklin & Marshall College and a master’s degree in urban studies from Columbia University. Renninger is the founder of OpenHousePHL and Conscious Cities and previously worked as an urban designer and planner for Pilot Projects Design Collective.

Schmader joins Woodlynde School’s board having served on various boards and fundraising committees throughout the region, including Stratford Friends School, Project HOME, Youth Legacy, Phillies charities, Philadelphia Antique Show, and Bryn Mawr Hospital. The parent of a Woodlynde alumnus, Schmader is a retired chiropractor who holds a doctorate in chiropractic from Life University. He is also an alumnus of Malvern Preparatory School.
