Woodlynde School one of six Wilson Accredited Partner schools in country

Wilson® Language Training recently approved Woodlynde School as a Wilson® Accredited Partner.

WAYNE – Wilson® Language Training recently approved Woodlynde School as a Wilson® Accredited Partner. Woodlynde is one of only six independent schools in the nation to earn this distinction.

An advanced level beyond the school’s previous recognition as a training partner, Wilson® Accredited Partners must prove that they meet Wilson® Language Training’s high standards of excellence in delivery of Wilson® professional training and business practices. As an accredited partner, Woodlynde School can provide training in the Wilson® Reading Program for a fee to members of the community.

In order to meet Wilson’s ® standards of excellence, Woodlynde School had to take several steps. After achieving training partner status, Penny Moldofsky, Director of Woodlynde School’s Literacy Institute, began the complex and detailed process to be approved as an accredited partner. Besides submitting an application and reviews of training documentation, a large component of the approval process was an in-depth, two-day observation by Wilson® of Woodlynde administering its Wilson® Introductory Workshop to educators.
