Director of Woodlynde School’s Literacy Institute, Penny Moldofsky is overjoyed, stating, “The best part of the past seven weeks was that it was a concerted effort on the part of teachers and students to use this technology to enjoy books in a way that promotes comprehension, access to material that is age and interest appropriate, and to discover how to employ study tools that improve discussions, note-taking, and essay writing.”

Learning Ally is just one of many assistive technology tools made available to help support Woodlynde students. Each Woodlynde student in grades 6-12 receives a personal laptop loaded with individualized assistive technology to serve their unique needs.
