Work Affecting Route 422 In Tredyffrin: PennDOT
The left lane of U.S. Route 422 will close for several hours on Tuesday and Wednesday, PennDOT said.

TREDYFFRIN, PA – Lane closures are hitting a road in Tredyffrin Township Tuesday and Wednesday, according to PennDOT.
PennDOT said a left lane closure is scheduled on westbound U.S. Route 422 between the Dekalb Pike/U.S. Route 202 and Valley Forge Road/state Route 23 interchanges in Tredyffrin and Upper Merion townships.
The closure will be in effect from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, June 20 and Wednesday, June 21, PennDOT said.

Crews will be working on the foundation of a sign structure that is part of a $73.3 million project to rebuild 1.6 miles of Route 422 and construct new structures over the Schuylkill River and Norfolk Southern railroad tracks, PennDOT said.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas.

The contractor’s schedule is dependent on the weather, according to PennDOT.
