Hosted by the Area Agency on Aging and state banking officials, the program is part of a statewide series on fraud prevention, identity theft, and smart money management, with details and registration available by phone or email.
   

• Driver sentenced to jail after four-vehicle crash (northcentralpa.com) — A Towanda-based court has sentenced a New York man to three months to two years in the Bradford County Correctional Facility after a four-vehicle crash in nearby Athens injured two people. Police say he ran an intersection, caused the collision, and fled the scene, leaving behind a vehicle that reportedly smelled of marijuana.
