• Unionville Solar Array Targets $1 Million in Energy Savings (mychesco.com) — Unionville High School has switched on a major rooftop solar array expected to save the Unionville-Chadds Ford School District over $1 million in electricity costs over 25 years. Funded largely through Pennsylvania's Solar for Schools program, the system should cover about a quarter of the high school's power needs and double as a hands-on learning tool for Unionville students.
   

• Unionville Alum Kyle Brun to Lead Patton Middle School (mychesco.com) — Patton Middle School families in the Unionville-Chadds Ford School District will see a familiar face take the helm, as Unionville High School alum Dr. Kyle Brun becomes principal by late November. The school board unanimously approved his appointment after community-informed interviews, bringing his Garnet Valley leadership experience back to the Unionville area.
