Road crews are on site assessing the damage, and Jarrettown Road is expected to remain closed for the next several days while repairs are underway.
Drivers should avoid the area and follow the posted detour via Dillon Road.
Authorities also ask drivers to avoid using Dreshertown Road as an alternate route due to a weight-restricted bridge.
