Cardinal Sports Wrap for Sept. 15
The golf team and JV tennis team both picked up convincing victories.
Golf
Upper Dublin’s golf team keeps rolling in the right direction as they defeated Norristown in SOL American Conference action. The Cardinals’ five lowest scores totaled 209 strokes, to the Eagles’ 241. The win puts the team at 7-1 overall, with a conference record of 4-1. Andrew Carber leads the team as the seventh-ranked golfer in the conference, but close behind him is Jon Bebey at number 17.
JV Girls Tennis
The girls of the JV tennis team defeated their Fort Washington rivals Germantown Academy 7-1. Maddie Spiegal and Lauren Baez-Perez swept their lone set, 6-0. Sam Samuels and Jen Xiao also went on to sweep their set.
