Golf continues its winning ways with a clobbering of Jenkintown

After being tied one all at the half, Upper Dublin found a way to keep their stellar defense against Cheltenham and take home a 4-2 victory. Anna Lauer took a pass from Marie Wheatley to even up the score before half, but after the mid-break session, it was all Lady Cardinals.

Kelly Cross kicked off the second half with a tally passed Cheltenham’s Emily Hawkins. Emily Hitchings and Sam Boyd then scored goals 30 seconds apart to put the finishing touches on another win for Upper Dublin.UD is now 6-1in SOL American conference play and 8-2 overall. They’ll play away at Upper Merion on Monday.

Golf

The winning ways of head coach David Koch and company continued Tuesday afternoon as Upper Dublin bested Jenkintown, 212-259. Jon Bebey was the leader, with a low of 38 on nine holes. Matt Brunetto, Harry Sykes, Matt Amey and Debbie Park were also on the leaderboard.
