Community Notice

Dear Neighbors,

On November 14 between 5 and 7pm something really great is going to happen. Cub and Boy Scouts plan to gather in the field behind Christ’s Lutheran Church (700 Pennsylvania Ave, Oreland, PA 19075) to take part in the First Annual Cub Campfire. What this you may ask? It’s an opportunity for our future leaders to learn skills, meet other Scouts and have fun around a campfire.

There will be a large crowd, lot of noise and a campfire. In cooperation with Upper Dublin Township officials, we have agreed to keep the fire small and take the appropriate safety measures. We also agreed to let you know what we are doing and that there is no need to be alarmed if you see or smell fire.

Not sure what Scouting is all about? Please stop by and check us out. We’ll be more than happy to answer any of your questions and help you and your families get started on the Scouting Adventure.
