Fire Tears Through Montgomery County Apartment

LOWER GWYNEDD, PA -- A fire tore through a Lower Gwynedd Township apartment building early Friday afternoon, according to fire officials.

Firefighters have been ordered to evacuate the building as of 1:25 p.m., according to Philly Fire News.

Crews responded to the scene on the 100 block of Woodview Lane shortly after 1 p.m.

A ”heavy” fire is engulfing some of a two-story apartment building.

Officials  requested a second alarm to be struck, the report states.

Wissahickon Fire Company was one of the responders on the scene.
