The visiting Patriots defeated Lawrenceville, 2-0, on Wednesday afternoon in the first round of the Pennsylvania Independent Schools playoff tournament.
GA seniors Will McNamara and Bill Oppenheimer each scored a shorthanded goal in the third period to lift the Patriots past Lawrenceville.
The team was led by Jake Adoni, who was phenomenal in goal for GA. The senior netminder made 20 saves to earn a shutout victory against a team that defeated the Patriots, 5-3, on Jan. 27.
