Boys and girls swimming both defeated Penn Charter at home on Tuesday, January 10.

In the boys' meet, Arthur Frayler broke GA's 500-meter freestyle pool record of 4:25.9 that he and the late Fran Crippen (Class of 2002) held by finishing in 4:24.65.

The Patriots swept Princeton Day School, 3-0, in Friday's Independent League match to improve to 2-0. Katie Tanner '13 powered GA's offense with 18 attacks, eight kills and two blocks. Kate Horvat '14 contributed an additional 10 attacks with seven of them landing for kills. Kelli Stack '12 finished the night with a team-high five aces on 14 serves. GA's defense was anchored by Tyler Wellington '12 and Natalie Cunnigham '12.

After beating Princeton Day School, the Patriots fell to Delta, 3-2, in a exhibition match. Delta is a local volleyball club based in Warminster.
