GA Sports: Volleyball Stays Undefeated in League with Tough Win over Shipley

The Patriots battled past a tough Shipley team on Tuesday afternoon with a pivotal 3-2 win.
GA won 25-22, 22-25, 26-24, 12-25, 18-16.
Junior Katie Tanner racked up 15 kills to lead GA past Shipley. Senior Kelli Stack '12 played great defense and had two crucial serves to help the Patriots seal the win at the end of the game.
GA received very strong serving from senior Liz Boetefuer '12 and solid defense from fellow senior Natalie Cunningham '12. Sophomore Kate Horvat '14 had two big blocks in the final set while sophomore teammate Shannon Robins '14 kept the offense moving with 38 assists.

With the win, the Patriots improved to 7-0 in league play.
