PHOTOS: Flying Cardinals Rout Upper Merion, 72-43
Strong offense and stingy defense help lead the Cardinals to their ninth victory of the season
The Upper Dublin boys basketball team earned their ninth victory of the season on Tuesday night, defeating the Upper Merion Vikings 72 to 43 in a game which was as lopsided as the score suggests.
"We played 32 minutes tonight," said Josh Adelman, coach of the Upper Dublin Cardinals. "It was a total team effort. This is the type of game we were looking for heading into our game against Plymouth-Whitemarsh on Friday."
"This is what we've wanted since the beginning of the season--to play like this," Adelman continued. "I'm kind of at a loss for words. I'm just really happy with the way we played."
