Gas Files 6/6: Oh Thank Heaven
Prices continue to fall, and one station has a clear edge.
Gas prices fell an average of 10 cents since our last check in Upper Dublin, and we also have a clear winner of the "cheapest gas" award.
The 7-Eleven in Ambler moved up three spots, and is now the cheapest station, offering gas at $3.75 for a gallon of unleaded, 16 cents cheaper than our last check.
The 7-Eleven hopped Dresher competitors Cumberland Farms, Exxon and Sunoco, all of which are now selling fuel at $3.77.

The prices take a big jump at the Lukoil by the turnpike ($3.89 with cash) and the Exxon in Maple Glen ($3.99).
The cheaper prices are right on par with the national average of $3.77, and a hair (or penny) more expensive than the Pennsylvania average of $3.76.
