Gas Files 7/27: UD's Fuel Race Tightens
Find out where the cheapest gas in Upper Dublin is this week.
No matter where you head to fuel up in Upper Dublin this week, with the exception of the Maple Glen Exxon (what's up with those guys?), prices are going to be in the same ballpark.
That's because prices have narrowed in recent weeks, as the cheapest station, the Ambler 7eleven, now sits at $3.75, only four cents cheaper than the next station (Dresher Sunoco) and seven cents cheaper than the second most expensive (Cumberland Farms). The Maple Glen Exxon continues its head-scratchingly high prices at $3.94, a full 19 cents higher than 7eleven.
Excluding that outlier, the average price for a gallon of unleaded now sits at $3.79 in Upper Dublin. That price is is eight cents higher than the national average of $3.79, and six cents higher than the Pennsylvania average of $3.73.
