Good School Districts Sell Homes, Upper Dublin Initiatives Are Designed to Assist Realtors

District Brochure and Survey are Part of Marketing Efforts

Realtors are an important source of information and the gateway to new residents. Recognizing this, the School District of Upper Dublin has undertaken some creative marketing projects directed specifically at realtors. Not only has the District produced a comprehensive brochure geared to prospective homebuyers, but has also launched a survey designed to elicit realtor feedback about the role that Upper Dublin schools play in home buying decisions.

“Some of our local realtors have reviewed the brochure and are eager to distribute it to potential clients because it is a single source of valuable and practical information,” said District School Board President Art Levinowitz. “It touches on academics, athletics, extracurriculars and support programs…information buyers commonly request when considering a move to a new community.”

A Comprehensive Source of Key Information
Prospective homebuyers often present realtors with long “must have” lists. Recently, Realtor.com surveyed 1,000 homebuyers and 91 percent reported that finding a home in a good school district is a priority. The School District of Upper Dublin ranks among the top districts in the state, due to above-average test scores, number of National Merit Finalists and Commended Scholars, and outstanding athletic and extracurricular offerings.
