Julia S Barner, 91, of Springhouse Estates

Julia S Barner, of Springhouse Estates, died on July 9, 2012 at Abington Hospice. She was 91 years old. Julia was born in Philadelphia on October 9, 1920 daughter of Percy B Staneruck and Julia (nee Dunlap).

She was married to Louis V Barner for 28 years and William H Sands for 20 years. She is survived by William H (Tom) Sands of Pennsburg, PA and Evelyn V Guidotti of Ambler, 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.  She is also survived by her sister Isabel Nichols of Florida and predeceased by 7 other siblings.

Julia was employed as a postal clerk at the Fort Washington Post Office for 28 years before her retirement on 1/16/1981. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.

Services will be Saturday July 14, 201 at 10am at Zion Lutheran Church 654 Bethlehem Pike, Flourtown PA 19034. Friends and family may call after 9am. Internment will follow at George Washington Memorial Park.
