Lawrence David Lofgren, Sr., 61, of Norristown, Formerly of Ambler
Lawrence was a graduate of the Wissahickon High School Class of 1969 and a US Army veteran.
Lawrence David Lofgren, Sr., 61, of Norristown, PA, formerly of Ambler, passed away unexpectedly at his home on June 13, 2012.
He was the beloved husband of Rita (Peeples) McFadden-Lofgren.
Larry was born in Philadelphia, PA on December 9, 1950 to Dorothy (Gundluch) and the late Lawrence C. Lofgren.
He was a graduate of Wissahickon High School Class of 1969.
He served our country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
Larry worked for Ambler Borough for over 24 years.
He was a member of Diversified Ryders Social Motorcycle Club and enjoyed hunting.
Besides his wife and mother, he is survived by 3 children: Larry, Neall and Roger Lofgren all of Ambler, PA; 3 Step-children: Father Richard McFadden of Bensalem, PA, Regina Van Duyne of East Norriton and Reanna McFadden of Plymouth Meeting; 3 grandchildren: Pete, Rita and Chris Van Duyne; many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Service on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at 11:30 AM at Emil J. Ciavarelli Family Funeral Home, 951 E. Butler Pike, Ambler.
The Viewing will be from 9:00 – 11:30 AM at the Funeral Home.
Interment will be private.
